Tasks
- As a valued member of the Sourcing team, you work closely with the strategic procurement team to ensure that the request for quotation (RFQ) process works as efficiently as possible.
- Request offers from suppliers with all the necessary technical information.
- Maintain daily contact with suppliers and analyze the competitiveness of their offers.
- Constantly check whether all the specifications, documentation and information required for the given offer are available.
- Keep the databases up-to-date and upload the various technical lists/drawings in the appropriate format to the RFQ system.
- Work closely with the managers in creating the supplier list, keeping it up-to-date and registering new suppliers.
- Act as a liaison between procurement and suppliers, conduct/support negotiations and keep both parties informed of current events.
- Meet deadlines.
- Record the current supplier prices which enable to be compared against previous data and identify competitive prices.
- Work closely with engineering teams to solve technical issues.
- Responsible for ensuring that all information available for placing purchase orders and fulfill customer orders.
- Participate in the development of new IT systems in order to develop effective, mistake-proof, data driven solutions for sourcing.

Expectations
- BA or MSC education level (economic or technical is an advantage)
- Relevant professional experience (mainly acquired in procurement, finance or production)
- Confident use English language (minimum B2 level) both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Fluent Hungarian language knowledge is required
