Lead Demand Planner

Tasks
- Lead fulfillment of the demand signal to satisfy customer requirements while aligning with business targets, operational constraints, and service objectives.
- Own and maintain Scheduled Ship Dates for sales order lines, ensuring demand prioritization and allocation sequence reflect business urgency, customer requirements, and supply constraints.
- Maintain accurate demand and scheduling data in ERP and planning systems to reflect current priorities.
- Proactively review and resolve SSD-LRD disconnects through daily reporting and control mechanisms to improve schedule stability and reduce unnecessary escalations.
- Lead review and processing of MSQ-submitted sales order lines within defined service level expectations, ensuring timely decisions, accurate SSD updates, and clear documentation of outcomes.
- Partner with business line teams, supply planners, order management, sourcing, and operations to proactively identify and resolve issues impacting execution of the demand plan.
- Drive prioritization and optimization of the scheduled ship sequence for critical parts and customer orders to maximize on-time delivery and fulfillment performance.
- Lead stock reallocation and supply balancing activities to support customer requirements and optimize the use of available inventory.
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly reports, dashboards, and metrics related to demand, material availability, order prioritization, and scheduling performance.
- Screen, prioritize, and manage incoming requests based on business urgency, customer impact, and supply constraints.
- Communicate business priorities, planning assumptions, risks, and recovery actions clearly across internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in demand scheduling, system utilization, and cross-functional execution processes.

Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, materials, planning, scheduling, or related operations functions.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in material planning, demand scheduling, master scheduling, or related planning/scheduling roles.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
