Manage resources and activities required for the completion of production plan, including logistics, planning, expediting, MRP, procurement in order to support manufacturing

Tasks

  • Manage materials planning and procurement for dedicated projects
  • Participate in Oracle materials related developments and testing
  • Interfacing with production, engineering, sales/project management, and external suppliers in order to schedule the receipt of raw materials to meet production demand
  • Attend weekly project and production meetings providing the updated promise dates on materials and keep project team informed regarding status of the project
  • Make and buy item management, demand management in Oracle
  • Drive cost and cycle time reduction with suppliers in cooperation with sourcing
  • Evaluate and drive resolution on all material quality and supply issues on project level
  • Assists in the development of recovery plan with suppliers for defective of unsatisfactory goods
  • Expedite management and/or escalation of the issue to next level
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize material flow process through the whole project
  • Follow- up and track open Purchase Requisitions related to owned project and purchase group
  • Drive plant related CoQ efforts
  • Control on ON-HOLD invoices linked to Supply Chain – Materials Management
  • Execute correct project closure – open PurReq control, Late PO’s, Excess materials reusage
  • Set up and monitor control points and alert Project Manager if any of the points get delayed (long lead and final BOM relaease, assembly, FAT, shipping)
  • Project cost structure…act as local project cost owner, support Project Manager to keep project cost within the budget

Expectations

  • BA degree (or a high school diploma with some experience in a Material Planning capacity);
  • At least 3 additional year of experience in utilizing planning systems;
  • Fluent English language knowledge.
