The Purchasing Scheduler leads the development and execution of purchasing processes for a specified segment within the Materials Management Organization. Purchasing through negotiation, plan development, and execution.

Tasks

  • Ensure timely creation and release of Purchase Orders to support the primary schedule.
  • Collaborate with supply partners and Materials Resource Planner to drive fulfillment activities and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution, including managing scheduling changes and cancelations.
  • Keep ERP system up to date and accurate to the current state of supply.
  • Apply appropriate Sourcing policies and execute sourcing program initiatives for strategic sourcing team, including management of deflation activities and supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Support initiatives, including lead time reduction, New Product Introduction (NPI), payment
  • terms and cash flow improvements.
  • Manage projects in a matrix organization globally.
  • Act as the primary source of contact for supply partners operational needs.

Expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Fluent English and Hungarian knowledge
  • Experience working with modern ERP: SAP platform
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage changing/conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Analytical and system proficiency skills
  • Ability to effectively operate in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
